Arizona State University houses a number of research collections of Asian cultural artifacts, objects of art and library library materials. The Anthropology Museum houses collections of cultural artifacts and textiles from Southeast Asia donated by Jane Hanks, Joel Halpern, Betty Grenig and William Sage.

ASU Libraries houses The Mimijac Palgen Photographic Collection comprising unique photographs of Cambodia and especially Angkor Wat. The Agnes Smeadly Collection contains photographs that document her work as a war correspondent in China. The Guardian of the Flame Collection of Sri Lankan contains rare palm leaf manuscripts housed in Special Collections in Hayden Library.
